How TMUA university requirements work

Seven universities use the TMUA for 2027 entry: Cambridge, Oxford, Imperial, LSE, Warwick, Durham and UCL. None publishes a hard pass mark, so the targets above are competitive guidelines drawn from how each one uses the score, not official cut-offs. Requirements are also course-specific and change year to year, so the final word always comes from your exact course page. For the full picture, see which universities require the TMUA and the detailed score requirements guide.

What if my score is below the target?

A score a little below the competitive range does not automatically rule you out, especially with strong grades, and some universities (such as Warwick and Durham) use a good score to reduce an offer rather than as a gate. The most useful thing you can do now is find out where you stand and close the gap with focused practice. Our preparation plan shows how.
